Front End Description
We recommended a designer to the client who produced the layout mockups. We took the mockups and put all the WordPress and BuddyPress functions/logic into place.
Back End Description
This site has a number of customizations on the backend. There are custom plugins, custom admin panels, an ad admin, and this also uses custom post types. Overall – this is a very slick CMS in which we plan to use as the basis of several other sites for the same client.
Lessons Learned/Random Thoughts
This was a great site to work on and was mentioned in BusinessWeek as well as the Wall Street Journal blogs within a few days of it’s go live date.
