Project Overview
The Patent Law and Policy Conference site provides pre and post conference information, downloads, and media.
Front End Description
We worked with the client to complete a custom design for their conference web site. The front end features custom fonts (cufon), and a jQuery Cycle quote “slideshow”.
Back End Description
The backend includes a custom admin for the jQuery Cycle slideshow, custom widgets, and some custom template logic for the conference archive page. Overall – this was a pretty simple site that did not need a lot of custom functionality.
Lessons Learned/Random Thoughts
Using cufon for font replacement opens the door to a lot of options for designers and I look forward to using more custom fonts in the future.
