Front End Description
We first did a custom theme for this a few years ago along with a custom mobile theme. As the analytical data pointed that more and more users were using their mobile devices to access the site - it was time to implement a responsive design based on Bootstrap.
Back End Description
This theme has custom options to control the entire home page, featured posts, school profiles, custom data, ads, etc. The theme makes customizing this theme very easy.
Lessons Learned/Random Thoughts
Creating a child theme and changing branding differences makes changes and standardization easy.
