This site is a custom forum where people can ask funeral related questions or share funeral related stories.
Front End Description
We created the WordPress/bbPress theme for the site for Funeralwise. The theme was designed to invite questions and stories from people without having a traditional forum to do so.
Back End Description
This site uses a number of custom options and functions in order to make it work as a more non-traditional forum site.
Lessons Learned/Random Thoughts
We have been working with this client for over seven years. We always enjoy working on new projects with them and this was no exception. The lesson with this project is that even though bbPress has matured quite a bit - there is still not nearly as much documentation as there is for WordPress. I spent a lot of time looking through the actual functions to figure things out.
